Sparta United

The U-16 Premier Girls team, coached by Patrick Rennie, had a very successful Thanksgiving Tournament.

They traveled to Las Vegas and participated in the Turkey Shoot.  They Only allowed 3 goals in a dominating performance.  They faced Rio Vista from New Mexico (3-1), Port Moody Renegades out of British Columbia (5-0), Avalanche from our own back yard (1-1).  They then beat the hosts Neusport (1-0) in the semi-finals and won the tournament by beating another team from Canada, this time from Calgary (2-1).

This was a great showing for this group of girls.  With this victory they have secured themselves a berth in the Vegas College Showcase.
